Goran Dragic has been included in trade talks between the Indiana Pacers and Toronto Raptors, as noted in the most recent Bleacher report update on trade rumors ahead of Thursday’s Trade Deadline.

Discussions with the Pacers are reportedly centered on a first-round pick and the experienced Slovenian point guard for Myles Turner. The deal can make sense for Indiana, in rebuild mode since trading away Caris LeVert and aiming to secure additional draft picks.

Dragic, 35, remains linked to the Atlanta Hawks as well. As recently reported, Italian forward Danilo Gallinari can be moved from the Hawks to complete a potential deal within the next couple of days.

In 2021-22, Dragic made his way to five games, including two starts. He logged 8.0 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.0 steals per contest before taking personal leave. He has remained away from the Raptors since late November. He will become an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

Toronto picked up the 2018 NBA All-Star in August’s sign-and-trade deal shifting Kyle Lowry to the Miami Heat. Dragic has appeared in 928 NBA games between the Raptors, Heat, Phoenix Suns, and Houston Rockets since being selected with the 45th overall pick of the 2008 draft.

As an upcoming youngster, Dragic turned pro in Slovenia and also competed in Spain as a member of UCAM Murcia before jumping to the NBA. During the 2011 lockout, he joined Baskonia for a brief stint.

His international career was highlighted by the 2017 EuroBasket championship.
