Tomas Satoransky will return where everything started for him in the NBA. According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Czech guard and the San Antonio Spurs have reached an agreement on a buyout deal that will make the player a free agent, allowing him to sign with the Washington Wizards.

Satoransky, 30, played for the Wizards in the first three seasons of his NBA career, from 2016 to 2019. He then moved to the Chicago Bulls where he spent two years before he got traded to the New Orleans Pelicans last summer.

During the recent trade period, Satoransky was acquired by the San Antonio Spurs with which he played in just one game. He now expects to get a sufficient amount of playing time on his new team after making just 32 appearances and spending 15.0 minutes on the floor with the Pelicans.

Over 366 regular-season games in the NBA, Satoransky has averaged 7.0 points, 4.0 assists and 2.9 rebounds.
