LeBron James continues showing that age is just a number for him with his latest display being a 38-point triple-double against the Cleveland Cavaliers, handing the LA Lakers a 131-120 win.
LeBron also added 12 assists and 11 rebounds to his stat line. DJ Augustin and Russell Westbrook scored 20 points each with the latter also dishing 11 assists.
With this win, the Lakers improved to 31-41 and kept a slight separation in front of the tenth-placed New Orleans Pelicans (30-42).
Kevin Durant had a similar performance with 37 points, nine rebounds, eight assists as he led the Brooklyn Nets to a 114-106 win over the Utah Jazz. Goran Dragic had seven points, seven assists.
On the opposing side, Donovan Mitchell score 30 while Rudy Gobert had 11 points.
When it comes to the best European displays of the night, Jonas Valanciunas stood with 24 points and 18 rebounds in the Pelicans’ loss to Charlotte.
Meanwhile, Aleksej Pokusevski had 19 points, five rebounds, three assists against Boston while Nikola Vucevic logged 19 points, 13 rebounds in the Bulls’ win over the Raptors.
