Denver and Jokic stay alive against the Warriors

Nikola Jokic had a stellar game with 37 points, eight rebounds and six assists as the Denver Nuggets got the 126-121 win over the Golden State Warriors to cut their lead to 3-1 in their first round series fod the Western Conference.

Will Barton made a big three to secure the win and Monta Morris scored 19 of his 24 points in the second half.

However it was Jokic who set the tone from start to finish, as the Serb big man didn’t want to end his MVP-caliber season as the victim of a sweep.

Steph Curry with 33 points and Klay Thompson with 32 were a force for the Warriors but couldn’t close the series with two consecutive road wins.

Serb forward Nemanja Bjelica had just one rebound and one assist for the losing side. The series now moves back to San Francisco.
