Chinanu Οnuaku has been drawing NBA and Euroleague interest, according to Eurohoops’ Aris Barkas.

The Cavaliers are in Tel Aviv doing their due diligence plus Euroleague teams are following him, including of course his playoff opponents Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Onuaku was drafted by the Houston Rockets back in 2016 as the 37th overall pick and spent two years with the team. He logged a total of six games for the Rockets while he also played in the G League with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.

He also played for the Greensboro Swarms in the G league before moving to Korea, Croatia, and Israel for one-year stints. He’s been playing for Bnei Herzliya this season.

Bnei Herzliya has been on the best run in club history this past year, finishing third in the regular season and reaching the semifinals where they will face Maccabi Tel Aviv.

The team also won the Israeli State Cup and Onuaku was the MVP of the tournament. Onuaku has been averaging 15.6 points, 9.3 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.8 steals, and 1.3 blocks over 29 games.
