The Milwaukee Bucks signed forward/center Serge Ibaka to a one-year deal according to Shams Charania of The Athletic. The Spanish big man will be back with the Bucks after finishing the season in Milwaukee.

Ibaka, 32, was acquired by the Bucks in February via a trade with the Los Angeles Clippers. He averaged 7.0 points and 5.3 rebounds in 17.8 minutes over 19 regular-season games, while appearing in six games in the playoffs for just 3.7 minutes.

The Bucks are the fourth team in Ibaka’s NBA career that began in 2009 with the Oklahoma City Thunder. He moved to the Orlando Magic in 2016 and then was traded to the Toronto Raptors in 2017.

At the Raptors, Ibaka played some of his most productive basketball, averaging 15.0 points plus 8.2 rebounds in 2018-2019, a season that ended with him becoming NBA champion. In the next year, he had a career-high 15.4 points.

In 2020, Ibaka signed with the Clippers where he stayed until the Bucks acquired him.
