Milwaukee Bucks forward Joe Ingles will be making his 2022-23 season debut against the New Orleans Pelicans Monday (19/12), per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. Ingles had joined the Bucks in summer as a free agent.

Ingles had been sidelined since January 2022, when he suffered an ACL tear during a game of the Utah Jazz against the Minesotta Timberwolves. The 35-year-old Australian player was ruled out for the rest of the season and his expiring contract was traded to the Portland Trail Blazers in February.

Before he got moved to the Blazers, Ingles had one of the longest tenures in the NBA, spending seven and a half seasons in the league with Utah. He joined the Jazz in 2014 after a successful EuroLeague run that culminated with winning the championship as a player of Maccabi Tel Aviv that year. He previously established himself in Europe with Barcelona, with he spent three seasons (2010 to 2013).

Throughout his NBA career, Ingles averaged 8.6 points, 3.8 assists and 3.2 rebounds in 590 regular season games, along with 9.8 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.8 assists in 45 playoff appearances.
