Chicago beats Detroit in Paris in front of Wembanyama

The 2023 NBA Paris Game ended up with the Bulls getting a 126-108 win over the Detroit Pistons. The Bulls (21-24) proved once again that they were the better team with Zach LaVine scoring 30 points.

Montenegrin Nikola Vucevic had 16 points, 15 rebounds, and six assists, and Slovenian icon Goran Dragic added three points plus two assists and two rebounds.

Croatian sharpshooter Bojan Bogdanovic scored 25 points for Detroit, while French guard Killian Hayes had four points and eight assists for the losing side.

However, the real story was that the game was a big basketball party, with EuroLeague and FIBA officials being in the city, the NBA announcing a partnership with France to promote the sport, and of course, the projected first pick of the upcoming draft being present.

Victor Wembanyama was courtside and met among others NBA legend Magic Johnson, while French icon and former NBA champion Tony Parker was also in the Arena.

He also watched live the Pistons who are last in the East with a 12-36 record and have a good chance to pick first in the upcoming draft. If that’s the case, then Wembanyama may have already watched his future team.
