Jokic and Giannis dominated as Nuggets and Bucks grabbed wins

When Nikola Jokic records a triple-double, Denver Nuggets win, as he got his 16th of the season in a 122-113 victory over New Orleans Pelicans.

Two-time NBA MVP grabbed his eighth triple-double in one month, leading the Nuggets to the win with 26 points, 18 rebounds, and 15 assists after two straight losses.

Serbian big man became only the fourth player in history who managed to record eight triple-doubles in a month, after Oscar Robertson (5x), Russell Westbrook (4x), and Wilt Chamberlain (2x).

It is also impressive that he got his 92nd regular season triple-double, shooting 10/14 from the field, and that’s his 20th with 70+ FG%, the most by any player in the last 40 seasons.

As for the European players that confronted him, Jonas Valanciunas got 10 points with six rebounds, while Willy Hernangomez scored six points with two boards.

Giannis Antetokounmpo led Milwaukee Bucks to a 124-115 win over Charlotte Hornets with 34 points and 18 rebounds.

The Greek Freak is now leading the league with 30/18 games this season.

He instigated a critical 12-2 run for the Bucks at the beginning of the fourth period with five straight points.


Last night Cleveland Cavaliers lost to Miami Heat 97-100, as Ricky Rubio got eight points, with five rebounds and assists for the losing side.

In an overtime 123-129 loss to Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks Isaiah Hartenstein recorded a double-double with 16 points and 13 rebounds, while Dennis Schroder scored 12 points for the winning side.

Nikola Vucevic was the leading scorer of the Chicago Bulls with 23 points in a 103-108 loss to Los Angeles Clippers. The Montenegrin center recorded another double-double with 14 rebounds.

Ivica Zubac also got a double-double with 14 points and 12 boards for the winning side, while Nicolas Batum added six and five.
