Nikola Jokic leads the Nuggets past Philly, Luka Doncic scores 25 for the Mavericks

It was an interesting NBA night for European players. Nikola Jokic and Luka Doncic were at the center of attention, but we also had big games by Lauri Markkanen, Nicolas Batum, Domantas Sabonis, and Nikola Vucevic …

All eyes were focused on Denver where NBA fans expected to see a clash between Nikola Jokic and Joel Embiid. But the Philadelphia big man did not play this game, and the Serbian MVP candidate recorded another triple-double. He scored 25 points and added 17 rebounds and 12 assists as the Nuggets won 116-111.

Luka Doncic had a similar stat line as he scored 25 points, posted seven rebounds, and six assists leading the Dallas Mavericks past Indiana 127-104.

Just like Nikola Jokic, and Luka Doncic, the superstar from Finland Lauri Markkanen had 25 points. But Utah Jazz lost against Phoenix 117-103.

In Europe big-man showdown. Rudy Gobert had 16 points and 16 rebounds as Minnesota won against Sacramento 119-115. Domantas Sabonis had a double-double of his own as he recorded 24 points and 10 rebounds.

We have to note Nicolas Batuns. In a vintage performance by the French player as he scored 24 points in a Los Angeles Clippers win over the Chicago Bulls 124-122. In a losing effort, Nikola Vucevic from Montenegro had 20 points, eight rebounds, and five assists.
