Capturing his 1st offensive rebound of the night and putting in a contested layup with 0.1 seconds left, Derrick White gave the Boston Celtics the win in Game 6 against the Miami Heat, tying the series 3-3. Boston became the 4th team to ever force Game 7 out of the 150 that have been down 0-3.

With a 24-point losing effort, while also grabbing 11 rebounds with 8 assists, Jimmy Butler couldn’t give Miami the victory and took full responsibility in the aftermath. “I told the guys in the locker room if I play better, we’re not in this position”, the 33-year-old commented in the post-game press conference.

“That’s very good basketball. Very entertaining”, he said. “I believe you’re going to get the same test until you pass it. I swear. We were in the same position last year. We can do it. I know that we will do it. We’ve got to go on the road and win in a very tough environment, but we’re capable of it, so let’s get busy”, he also added.

The former Chicago Bulls star was a decisive factor in the first three games of this best-of-seven series for Erik Spoelstra’s team. He has been averaging 28.8 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game in these NBA Playoffs.
