Toronto Raptors have to deal with a big problem, as their starting center Jonas Valanciunas will be out of action for the next six weeks, due to injury. The Lithuanian player had left the game against the Los Angeles Lakers with a fractured fourth metacarpal in his left hand and the medical tests showed that he will remain sidelined for the next 45 days.

In co-operation with the Raptors medical team, Valanciunas decided to rehab his broken hand instead of undergoing surgery. The 23-year-old player is averaging 12.7 points and 9.3 rebounds per game on 55.6 per cent shooting.
