Svi Mykhailiuk scores career-high-tying 26 in Celtics’ win over Wizards

Svi Mykhailiuk scored an NBA career-high-tying 26 points to help the Boston Celtics beat the Washington Wizards 132 – 122 in the game that concluded the regular season for both teams. Boston finished with a league-best 64 – 18 while Washington completed its run at 15 – 67.

Mykhailiuk played a season-high 37 minutes as the Celtics rested their starting lineup.

The Ukrainian wing had a stellar shooting performance of 10 out of 13 from the field, including 6-8 triples. He also grabbed five rebounds and dished out five assists.

In his last game for 2023-24, Deni Avdija registered nine points on 3-11 shots. It was overall the top campaign in the NBA for the Israeli forward who averaged career-highs 14.2 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 3.8 assists, greatly increasing his output compared to 2022-23 (9.2 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.8 assists).

Tristan Vukcevic wasn’t used in the game by the Wizards.
