Carmelo Anthony to be inducted into the 2025 Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame

Carmelo Anthony will reportedly be inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2025.

According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, the former Denver Nuggets and New York Knicks player has been informed about such a special occasion.

The now-retired legendary small forward, who spent 19 years in the NBA playing for the Denver Nuggets, New York Knicks, Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Lakers, and Portland Trail Blazers, has averaged 22.5 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game.

Over the course of his long trajectory, he has managed to become one of the greatest players ever to represent Team USA, winning gold medals in three consecutive Olympics (2008, 2012, and 2016). He also won bronze medals at the 2004 Olympics and in the 2006 FIBA World Cup.

The 40-year-old former veteran was selected with the 3rd overall pick in the 2003 NBA Draft, behind LeBron James and Darko Milicic.
