After his Israeli teammate Ben Saraf, French forward Noa Essengue will enter the 2025 NBA draft.
“Since I was a kid, it’s been my dream to get drafted by an NBA team,” Essengue said to ESPN announcing his decision.
“My goal now is to be a top-10 pick. I’m focused on the end of my season, hoping to win a championship, but after the playoffs, I will need to get myself ready, because there’s a big gap between Europe and the NBA.”
Essengue was long considered among the European prospects who would enter the draft this year.
The 18-year-old power forward is averaging 10.8 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.0 steal in 24 minutes per game through 43 games, both on the EuroCup and in the German BBL.
