The Latvian NBA sensation otherwise known as “Kristaps Porzingis” was named Rookie of the Month for the Eastern Conference for the third consecutive time.
“Zingsanity” runs rampant in New York and how could it be otherwise. Kristaps Porzingis finished the month with 15.3 point per game (fourth among all rookies) while he averaged 7.2 rebounds (second in all NBA newcomers). He had four double/doubles and never had a game where he scored less than 12 points.
While the 20 year old power forward had many great performances, his best was probably the one against the San Antonio Spurs where he finished the game with 28 points and 11 points, in a match where the Knicks were so very close to victory (losing 99-100).
