Atlanta Hawks sign Nikola Djurisic to multi-year deal

The Atlanta Hawks have officially signed forward/guard Nikola Djurisic, the team announced Thursday.

While terms of the deal were not disclosed per team policy, according to HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto, Djurisic inked a three-year, $5.95 million contract, including $1.27 million fully guaranteed for the 2025-26 season.

Selected 43rd overall in the 2024 NBA Draft, Djurisic was acquired by Atlanta in a three-team trade with the Miami Heat and Houston Rockets on June 27. He spent the 2024-25 season with the College Park Skyhawks, the Hawks’ G League affiliate, averaging 10.5 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 3.5 assists across 32 games.

Prior to joining the G League, the 6-foot-8 Serbian standout made his mark with Mega Basket in the Adriatic League, where he posted 15.4 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game during the 2023-24 campaign. Djurisic has also earned numerous accolades, including the 2022-23 Adriatic League Top Prospect Award and MVP honors at the U19 Adriatic Junior League and the 2021-22 EuroLeague Adidas Next Generation Tournament.
