Atlanta Hawks’ star Trae Young will be out for the next weeks. Shams Charania reported that the point guard sustained a sprained MCL in his right knee and will be re-evaluated in four weeks.

Young injured his knee against the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday. Mouhamed Gueye fell into his right leg, and Trae Young went into the locker room after grabbing his knee.

Charania added that the doctor says he avoided a major injury and structural damage to the knee. The Hawks (3-3) will try to win without their star.

Before the injury, Young was averaging 17.8 points and 7.8 assists per game in his eight seasons at Georgia.
