San Antonio beats Oklahoma once again (102-117). The Spurs have won the Thunder three times this season (0-3). Twice in the last 48 hours.
New York completes the comeback
In the first game of Christmas Day, the New York Knicks got the close win (126-124) against the Cleveland Cavaliers at Madison Square Garden. Jalen Brunson (34) and Jordan Clarkson (25) were the top scorers for Mike Brown. The British forward OG Anunoby added 8.
Ariel Hukporti played 5 minutes but did not get any baskets. Mohamed Diawara scored 5. Donovan Mitchell led Atkinson’s squad (34), alongside Darius Garland (16).
The Spurs are Oklahoma’s worst nightmare
The Oklahoma City Thunder suffered in the first half against San Antonio. The Spurs, who have handed the Thunder two of their four losses so far this season, set their pace before the break (60-69). San Antonio increased the pace to secure the win in Oklahoma (102-117).
Victor Wembanyama had 19 points and 11 rebounds. De’Aaron Fox was San Antonio’s top scorer (29). In Oklahoma, Shai scored 22 but it wasn’t enough.
