Giannis Antetokounmpo put in 24 points, seven assists, four rebounds, and one steal, pushing the Milwaukee Bucks to a win, 123-113, against the Charlotte Hornets in Spectrum Center on Monday.
“We have a really good team. We just got to get out of our feelings. I think we get in our feelings too easy. It starts with me. Everybody got to get out of our feelings, man. When things don’t go well, we can’t whine, complain, or like demand for the ball, demand for the call, or demand for things to go well. We haven’t earned nothing,” explained the Greek superstar in a postgame press conference.
Recording two consecutive wins for the first time since October, his side jumped to 14-19 in the 2025-26 NBA Regular Season. The Freak has set his sights on the next team outings amid a battle to return in the postseason picture of the Eastern Conference.
“We have a great month of very tough games that is going to either make us or break us. And as long as I’m here, as long as I’m healthy, I’m just going to keep on helping the teammates, talking to them, be vocal in the locker room, be vocal in the bus, playing, practicing, film session, games, and try to make everybody believe that we got to get out of this hole and nobody’s going to make us feel comfortable,” said Giannis.

“I hate that. I feel like I’m being rushed, and I got to like set the tone and put the game away in such a short period of time. But at the end of the day, right now, I’m just, as I said, I just want to make my presence felt when I’m out there,” he shared on his approach to limitations.
His brother, Thanasis, stayed on the bench for the team coached by Doc Rivers, with Alex remaining on assignment with the G League affiliate, Wisconsin Herd.
Starting for the Hornets and logging 34:52, Moussa Diabate produced 14 points, nine rebounds, three assists, two steals, and one block. Coming off the bench, fellow French option Tidjane Salaun had three points, 11 rebounds, one steal, and one assist in 27:49.
