Houston Rockets center Alperen Şengün suffered an ankle injury early in the first quarter of Saturday’s game against the Dallas Mavericks.
Şengün appeared to roll his ankle while going up for a rebound, landing on the foot of Mavericks center Daniel Gafford.
He was helped to the locker room for evaluation by the team’s medical staff and did not return to the game, officially being ruled out at halftime.
This season, Şengün is averaging 22.6 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 6.7 assists over 27 games.
