Guerschon Yabusele returned to the court after a short injury absence but played just six minutes, scoring two points and grabbing three rebounds in the New York Knicks’ loss to the Sacramento Kings.

Since joining the Knicks last summer, the former Real Madrid star has appeared in 33 games, averaging only 9.8 minutes, 3.2 points, and 2.2 rebounds per contest.

It’s clear that Yabusele has struggled to find his role in the Knicks rotation, far from the expectations he had when signing with the team after a strong season with the Philadelphia 76ers.

According to the New York Post, the 30-year-old French international has now been placed on the trade block. With the NBA trade deadline set for February 5, Yabusele could be moving to a new team in the coming weeks.

He recently emphasized his desire to continue his NBA career for years to come, but according to the latest developments, his future may lie away from the New York Knicks.
