The Memphis Grizzlies and Utah Jazz have finalized a trade that will see Jaren Jackson Jr. continue his career in Utah, according to ESPN insider Shams Charania.
Along with the former Defensive Player of the Year, the Jazz also receive John Konchar, Vince Williams Jr., and center Jock Landale.
In exchange, Memphis will add guard Walter Clayton, wing Kyle Anderson, forwards Taylor Hendricks and Georges Niang, as well as three future first-round draft picks.
The draft compensation includes the Los Angeles Lakers’ 2027 first-round pick, which is unprotected, the most favorable 2027 first-rounder between the Cavaliers, Timberwolves, or Jazz, and the Phoenix Suns’ unprotected 2031 first-round pick, as reported by Jake Fischer of The Stein Line.
The move gives Memphis additional roster depth and significant draft capital for the future, while Utah strengthens its frontcourt by adding one of the league’s top defensive big men alongside Lauri Markkanen.
Šarić moves to Pistons
Chicago Bulls, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Detroit Pistons have agreed to a multi-team trade that will send Jaden Ivey and Mike Conley Jr. to the Chicago Bulls, while the Detroit Pistons acquire Kevin Huerter and Dario Šarić, according to Charania.
As part of the deal, the Detroit Pistons will also receive a protected first-round pick swap from the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2026.
Šarić was recently traded from the Sacramento Kings to the Chicago Bulls before being sent to Detroit in this multi-team deal.
