Another big trade in the NBA!
As reported by Shams Charania, the Chicago Bulls are trading center Nikola Vucevic and a second-round pick to the Boston Celtics for Anfernee Simons and a second-round pick.
After spending the past five and a half seasons in Chicago, he is now moving to Boston, where he will step in as the team’s starting center right away.
Vučević joins a frontline that lacked experience, with Neemias Queta, Luka Garza, and Xavier Tillman Sr. making up Boston’s current center rotation.
A former two-time All-Star, Vučević is averaging 16.9 points, nine rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game for the Bulls, starting all 48 games this season.
