A final clash of legends

We have lots of moments like this in Kobe Bryant’s “farewell season”, but it’s not like we are used to them. So each and every time the “Black Mamba” faces another legend with whom he battled so many times in the past, it’s quite special.

That’s what happened few hours ago in Staples Center, in the game between the San Antonio Spurs and the L.A. Lakers. That was the last time in which Tim Duncan played against Kobe Bryant and, of course, this part of the match perhaps attracted more attention than the game itself.

Kobe Bryant was really good with 25 points and 4 rebounds, but the Spurs ultimately took the win 113-119. Duncan finished with a double/double (12 points, 13 rebounds) for his team, that had Tony Parker as its best player (25 points, 6 assists).

But, as we said, that was all about Kobe and Tim, together on the same court, for the very last time.
