Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo announced a partnership with Kalshi on Friday.

The Greek Freak became a shareholder in Kalshi, a major prediction market featuring a wide array of sports trading opportunities.

“Everyone is online. The internet is full of opinions. I decided it was time to make some of my own,” wrote the 31-year-old Antetokounmpo in posts across his social media accounts. “Today, I’m joining Kalshi as a shareholder. We all on Kalshi now.”

“Giannis is a legend,” said Kalshi CEO Tarek Mansour in a release. “He’s exactly the type of long-term partner we want to align our growing brand with, and we couldn’t be happier he’s on board.”

Prediction markets present opportunities to trade or wager on future event results. However, Giannis will be forbidden from trading on markets related to the NBA as an active player in the league, as confirmed by the federally regulated prediction market and financial exchange. The partnership includes collaborations on live events and marketing.

“I love the Kalshi markets and have been checking them often recently,” Antetokounmpo said in the company’s release. “I like to win. It’s clear to me Kalshi is going to be a winner and I’m excited to be getting involved.”

Beyond expanding his business portfolio, the Athens native is currently in rehab following a recent right calf strain. Through 30 appearances in the 2025-26 Regular Season, he is averaging 28.0 points, 10.0 rebounds, 5.6 assists, 0.9 steals, and 0.7 blocks per contest. At 21-29, the Bucks are currently two games out of the Eastern Conference Play-In zone.
