Houston Rockets visited defending NBA champions Oklahoma City Thunder and, thanks to Alperen Sengun, emerged victorious on the road.
The Turkish center had a great game and posted a triple-double, as the Rockets handed OKC their fifth loss in the last eight games, winning 112–106.
Sengun finished with 17 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists, while Tari Eason had 26 points, Jabari Smith Jr. added 22 and Kevin Durant scored 20 for the winning side. On the other side, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was out, while Isaiah Hartenstein had four points, eight rebounds and 11 assists.
San Antonio Spurs beat Dallas Mavericks 138–125 behind Stephon Castle’s triple-double of 40 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists.
Victor Wembanyama finished with a double-double of 16 points and 11 rebounds, also recording three blocks along the way.
Orlando Magic beat Utah Jazz 120–117 behind Paolo Banchero’s 23 points, while Mo Wagner added 13, Tristan Da Silva eight and Noah Penda six points. On the other side, Lauri Markkanen led the way with 27 points and seven rebounds. Jusuf Nurkic scored just three points, but added 14 rebounds and six assists.
Last but not least, Charlotte Hornets beat Atlanta Hawks 126–119 on the road, with Moussa Diabate posting a double-double of 11 points and 15 rebounds. His fellow Frenchman, Zaccharie Risacher, scored 18 points for the opposing side.
