Tristan Vukcevic stays for three more years in Washington

The Washington Wizards are signing big man Tristan Vukcevic to a new three-year, $9 million deal, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.

According to the report, there’s a team option in third season.

Born in 2003, Vukcevic was the 42nd pick of the 2023 NBA draft and joined the team late in the 2023-24 season. He then played last season on a two-way deal, before re-signing on another two-way contract for this season.

He has played before moving to the US for Olympiacos, Real Madrid and Partizan.

This season, he averaged 7.9 ppg, 2.7 rpg and 1.1 apg.
