Alperen Sengun showcased his versatile brilliance on Wednesday, recording his 11th career triple-double to lead the Houston Rockets to a commanding 128-97 victory over the Sacramento Kings at the Toyota Center. This performance marked his third triple-double of the 2025-26 NBA Regular Season, further cementing his status as one of the league’s most well-rounded big men.

In 32 minutes of action, the Turkish starting center was remarkably efficient, tallying 26 points on 9-of-13 shooting from the field. He rounded out his stat line with 13 rebounds and 11 assists, while also providing a significant defensive presence with three blocks and two steals. Following the win, which improved the Rockets’ season record to 36-21, Sengun praised the team’s chemistry.

“I think we are playing beautiful basketball the last two games,” he noted during the postgame press conference. “If we keep playing like this, I think a lot of games are going to be close to this.” He reflected on the team’s growth, comparing this season to the last. “I remember we had a lot of games like this last season, but this season is different because sometimes we change how we play, and that affects our game. We understand each other better now.”

The Rockets also saw a brief contribution from Swiss backup Clint Capela, who logged two points and four rebounds in 13 minutes. Conversely, it was a difficult night for the shorthanded Kings, who are currently without Lithuanian Domantas Sabonis following season-ending knee surgery. French starting center Maxime Raynaud had 11 points and eight rebounds, while fellow countryman Killian Hayes added three points and three assists off the bench.
