NBA results & standings: Dončić leads Lakers, double-doubles from Yabusele and Raynaud

The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the New Orleans Pelicans 110–101, with Luka Dončić leading the way.

The Slovenian star finished with 27 points and 10 rebounds, falling just three assists short of a triple-double.

Elsewhere, Guerschon Yabusele continued his strong run with the Chicago Bulls despite a 116–108 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

After not seeing action for the New York Knicks earlier in the season, Yabusele logged nearly 30 minutes and recorded a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Matas Buzelis added 11 points for the Bulls.

The Sacramento Kings fell 114–103 to the Phoenix Suns, but Max Raynaud impressed with 22 points and 10 rebounds.

The San Antonio Spurs crushed the Philadelphia 76ers on the road, 131–91, with Victor Wembanyama taking more of a supporting role, finishing with 10 points, eight rebounds, and four assists. Bona Adem added six points and six rebounds for the Sixers.

The Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Memphis Grizzlies 117–110 behind Anthony Edwards’ 41 points, while Rudy Gobert contributed five points and 12 rebounds. On the other side, Ryan Rupert recorded 13 points and six rebounds.

The Miami Heat beat the Brooklyn Nets 124–98, with Simone Fontecchio scoring 12 points and Kasparas Jakucionis adding nine along with five assists. For Brooklyn, Nolan Traore scored 14 points, while Ben Saraf finished with six points and four assists.

Darko Rajaković’s Toronto Raptors couldn’t cope with the New York Knicks, losing 111–95. OG Anunoby scored 15 points for the winners, while Jakob Poeltl posted nine points and seven rebounds for Toronto.

Paolo Banchero led the Orlando Magic to a 126–109 win over the Washington Wizards with 37 points. Moritz Wagner added 10 points, Goga Bitadze had nine points and six rebounds, and Tristan da Silva finished with eight points and nine boards.

Dennis Schröder recorded 15 points, five rebounds, and five assists in the Cleveland Cavaliers’ 113–109 win over the Detroit Pistons.
