Dillon Brooks arrested for driving under the influence

Phoenix Suns small forward Dillon Brooks was arrested for driving under the influence in Scottsdale, Arizona, in the early morning hours on Friday, according to TMZ Sports.

The basketball player is currently recovering from a wrist fracture, which is why he has not been playing for the Suns for some time.

According to information provided by authorities to TMZ, Brooks was taken into custody around 2 a.m. and released shortly thereafter, at approximately 3:20 a.m.

The report notes that the athlete behaved respectfully and cooperated with police officers before being released. The Canadian, who has earned approximately $105 million during his NBA career, has been sidelined in recent weeks due to the broken wrist. He underwent surgery to recover from the left wrist fracture and could miss another month of the season.
