The San Antonio Spurs pulled off one of the most remarkable comebacks of the season, erasing a 25-point halftime deficit to defeat the Los Angeles Clippers 117-112.

At the heart of the rally was Victor Wembanyama, whose dominance on both ends of the court kept the Spurs in striking distance and ultimately helped them snatch the win.

Wembanyama reflected on the intensity of the matchup after the game.

I was about to pass out in the first quarter from exhaustion. That’s close to being the hardest game of my life. I know it might not look like it, but we played a hell of a game against the most physical team in the league,” Wemby said per ESPN.

The French star finished with 27 points, 10 rebounds, and four blocks, anchoring San Antonio’s comeback on both offense and defense.
