The Milwaukee Bucks waived guard Cam Thomas on Monday night, less than two months after signing him, to convert the two-way contract of forward Pete Nance into a standard NBA contract.
Thomas was waived by the Brooklyn Nets on the 8th February and was signed by the Bucks in hopes that he can help the team be a contender in the East.
Needless to say that the plan didn’t pan out, specially after the latest injuries of Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Thomas averaged 9.6 points on 41% shooting with 1.9 assists and 16 minutes in the 16 games since the 11th of February.
Overall, he appeared in 18 games for Milwaukee and he is a free agent again, who must wait for the summer to get his next opportunity.
