The San Antonio Spurs continue their winning streak. The Texas team comfortably defeated the Milwaukee Bucks (127-95) to move into second place in the Western Conference with a record of 56 wins and 18 losses, behind the Oklahoma
Thunder.
Victor Wembanyama led the victory with 23 points, 15 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 blocks. Stephon Castle recorded a triple-double with 22 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists.
Giannis did not play for Milwaukee. Gary Trent was the top scorer for the away team with 18 points.
San Antonio dominated the first half (67-45). Milwaukee couldn’t do anything to stop Wemby and Castle. The Spurs punished from beyond the arc with Dylan Harper coming off the bench.
The French phenom stepped up after the break to secure another win, the eighth in a row (127-95). Rivers’s team is now 29-44 in 11th place in the Eastern Conference and mathematically out of the post season.
