Tristan Enaruna’s meteoric rise reached a new milestone this week as the Cleveland Charge forward was named the 2025-26 Kia NBA G League Most Improved Player on Wednesday.

On a two-way contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers, the 24-year-old Dutch international transformed from an 11.0 points-per-game contributor with the Maine Celtics last season into a dominant force in Cleveland. Enaruna averaged 20.3 points per game on an efficient .548/.378/.750 shooting split across 38 appearances, earning him his first six NBA career outings during the 2025-26 Regular Season. His breakout campaign was the centerpiece of a development-heavy roster that also saw teammate Darius Brown II finish third in the award voting.

The infrastructure facilitating these individual leaps was also recognized at the highest level. General manager Liron Fanan was named the Executive of the Year, making history as the first woman to ever receive the honor. Fanan, just the second executive in franchise history to win the award, has been credited with building one of the most reliable and productive development systems in the league. Her ability to identify and refine talent like the Almere native has solidified the Charge as a premier pipeline for the parent Cavaliers.

Despite the individual accolades and a strong regular season, the Charge’s collective journey came to an abrupt end on Wednesday. Entering the postseason as the third seed in the Eastern Conference with a 23-13 record, they were knocked out by the Capital City Go-Go in the opening round of the Playoffs, presented by Google.
