The NBA Play-In Tournament has come to an end, and the playoff bracket is now officially set.
The Orlando Magic secured the final playoff spot in the East with a convincing 121–90 win over the Charlotte Hornets.
Franz Wagner delivered a solid all-around performance with 18 points, seven rebounds, and six assists, while Paolo Banchero led the way with 25 points. Goga Bitadze added nine points and four rebounds, Tristan da Silva scored five, and Noah Penda chipped in four, while Moritz Wagner did not score.
For the Hornets, Tidjane Salaün had four points in nine minutes, while Moussa Diabaté scored just two but grabbed eight rebounds in 18 minutes, as Charlotte wrapped up its season.
Orlando advances to the playoffs, where it will face the Detroit Pistons in the first round.
Meanwhile, in the Western Conference, the Phoenix Suns defeated the Golden State Warriors 111–96 to secure their place in the playoffs alongside the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Jalen Green led the Suns with 36 points, while Devin Booker added 20 along with eight assists. On the other side, Brandin Podziemski recorded 23 points and 10 rebounds, Stephen Curry finished with 17, and Kristaps Porziņģis added 11 points in under 15 minutes.
The Warriors’ season is now officially over — and possibly more than that.
“I don’t know what’s going to happen next, but I love you guys to death. Thank you, I appreciate you,” microphones caught Steve Kerr telling Draymond Green and Stephen Curry after Green fouled out late in the game.
