Nikola Jokić was ejected in the closing moments of Denver’s Game 4 loss after a brief scuffle with Jaden McDaniels, as the Denver Nuggets fell 3–1 behind the Minnesota Timberwolves in the series.

With the result already decided, McDaniels went for a late layup, prompting Jokić to sprint across the court and confront him, leading to his ejection.

The Serbian center didn’t go into detail after the game but made it clear he stands by his reaction.

Because everyone stopped playing, and he scored. You saw what happened,” Jokić said. “No, I don’t regret it.

Jokić also pointed to a shift in momentum after halftime as a key factor in the loss, stressing that Denver failed to capitalize on its chances and allowed Minnesota to take control with energy and pace.

Despite the deficit, he remains confident the Nuggets can respond, while acknowledging the impact of Rudy Gobert on the series.

We’ve been in situations like this before. The most important thing is the next game,” Jokić added.
