Jusuf Nurkic opened up about the possibility of wearing a Partizan jersey one day during an appearance on the X and O’s Podcast, addressing speculation surrounding a potential move to the Serbian club at some point in his career.
The Bosnian center explained that, despite the rumors and fan interest over the years, he has never actually been approached by the black-and-whites — at least not to his knowledge.
“I didn’t have an offer from the black-and-whites. I didn’t, at least I don’t know that I did, but I wish that I had,” Nurkic started.
The veteran center also made a lighthearted comment about his future while discussing the topic.
“I’m now looking for new jobs,” Nurkic jokingly claimed, also hinting at his future.
Nurkic spent the season with the Utah Jazz, averaging 10.9 points and 10.4 rebounds per game, while also posting a career-high 4.8 assists per contest.
