The incredible run of blockbuster trades in the NBA this offseason continues and, after Giannis Antetokounmpo, another big star has been traded.

Jaylen Brown, the Boston Celtics ace who was drafted by them in 2016, has changed teams and will continue his career with the Philadelphia 76ers, reports Shams Charania.

In the other way, 76ers sent Paul George, two first-round picks and two second-round picks.

“The Boston Celtics have agreed to trade Jaylen Brown to the Philadelphia 76ers for Paul George, two first-round picks and two second-round picks, sources tell ESPN.”

For a long time, Brown was considered an option for the Celtics to acquire Giannis Antetokounmpo, but when that fell through, Boston turned to other options.

In the end, they managed to get Paul George for him, a former All-Star but a player who has passed his peak form.

Brown had been with the Celtics only since 2016, and together with Jayson Tatum, they managed to bring the franchise a title in 2024, defeating the Dallas Mavericks in the finals. Jaylen Brown was the MVP of that Finals.
