The New York Knicks reportedly agreed to an Exhibit-10 contract with Igor Milicic Jr. ahead of training camp, according to Karol Wasiek of Interia Sport in Poland.
Essentially, this is an invitation to training camp; still being part of the NBA champions’ preseason is not a small feat.
Milicic, whose father is coaching the Polish national team, signed a similar Exhibit-10 contract with the Philadelphia 76ers for last year’s training camp, and he ended up in the G League averaging 6.9 points and 5.0 rebounds in 45 games with the Delaware Blue Coats.
The 24-year-old player, who also holds Croatian citizenship, played from 2021 until 2024 in the NCAA for Virginia, Charlotte, and Tennessee.
