Stephen Curry has confirmed that he still wants to play basketball in the Golden State Warriors jersey, which has reassured the fans of this franchise.
Curry appeared on CNBC, where he confirmed that this will not be his last season in his career.
“You think about it every day. Nobody’s beating father time when it comes to that. And I say that to say it informs how I work, it informs how I prepare, it informs how I commit to the strategy of preparing myself and also enjoying the time that I have.
I know there are fewer days ahead than behind me and that’s okay. I still have a lot to accomplish out there on the court and I still love to play the game. I still feel like I can play at a high level.”
Once again, a reporter asked him if he intends to retire.
“No, no. There’s a sense of urgency that to capitalize on these next two years and see where it takes you. That’s kind of the strategy right now.”
Curry is the best shooter in history, one of the best basketball players in NBA history, and he has spent his entire career with the Warriors, with whom he has won four rings and has been the regular season MVP twice.
