Cedi Osman will meet the Cavs at Las Vegas

Osman wrote many times on his Eurohoops blog that he would prefer to make the jump to the NBA and the time has come for him to make contact with the Cavs.

The Turkish swingman is expected to be present at Las Vegas in the 6th of July and meet with the Cavaliers. He will not play at the Summer League, however those meetings may decide his future.

The intention of Cedi is clear – and it was even before the start of the 2016-17 – his one million US dollars buy out is more than managable and the question is what are the Cavs intention for him, specially now that David Griffin is no longer the GM of the team.

Osman is expected to meet the new GM of the Cavs, whoever he might be, and hear the plans of Cleveland about him. His current contract with Anadolu Efes includes an extension clause for next season, if he doesn’t leave for the NBA.
