The Indiana Pacers have waived French forward/center Kevin Seraphin choosing to not proceed with him in the upcoming season, according to Shams Charania of The Vertical.

Seraphin, who is currently in France to prepare for the EuroBasket with his country’s national team, has been reported as a potential interest of Barcelona that is looking for an additional center with different characteristics than Ante Tomic.

The two sides came were really close last summer but a deal didn’t come to fruition. With the French player being now a free agent, it remains to be seen if the Blaugrana express the interest via an official offer.

The 27-year-old international notched 4.7 points plus 2.9 rebounds per game in the previous season.
