The Denver Nuggets managed to maintain the 8 spot in the West and now sit 1.5 game ahead of the Clippers with a comeback win of the Mavericks.
Nikola Jokic led the way for the home side with a great all-around performance. Even though he struggled with his shooting, Jokic posted a triple-double, his second of the season with 11 points, 16 boards and 11 assists in a 91-89 win.
German “bigs”, Dirk Nowitzki had 11 and Maxi Kleber score 8 for the losing side.
The Indiana Pacers managed an impressive comeback home victory at the expense of the Orlando Magic.
Even though they were down by 21, Indiana kept fighting and managed to cut the deficit to one with 4 minutes left and hung on to win behind another encouraging performance by Domantas Sabonis.
The Lithuanian big-man has thrived in Myles Turner’s absence, scoring in double-figures for a third straight game. He finished with 17 points, 9 boards, 2 assists and a steal while Bogdan Bogdanoivic added 10 points for th winning side.
Evan Fournier scored 21 points for the losing side.
