Nikola Jokic notched one of his best performances of the season but it wasn’t enough to prevent a loss of the Denver Nuggets in the hands of Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Serbian center finished with 36 points, 13 rebounds, and 6 assists but the Nuggets fell 108 – 113 to the Cavs (Lebron James 39 points, 10 rebounds, 8 assists).

By shooting 12/14 from the field and posting the above statline, Jokic became just the second player in the history of the NBA to complete a game with 36+ points, 13+ boards, 6+assists and 85% f.g., after Wilt Chamberlain, per BSN Denver’s Harrison Wind.

In Sacramento, Nikola Mirotic scored 24 points to lead the New Orleans Pelicans to victory over the Sacramento Kings. Following a 22-point outing in the previous game, Bogdan Bogdanovic had his first scoreless NBA game, finishing with 0/6 shots.

In Indiana, Rudy Gobert and Ricky Rubio boosted the Utah Jazz towards their fourth straight victory, a result that further strengthened the team’s playoff chances.

Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 30 and even blocked shots while getting elbowed in the face against the Houston Rockets. Still, James Harden (26 points, 6 assists, 5 rebounds) and his squad were too strong for the Milwaukee Bucks.
