Luka Doncic, one of the frontrunners for the No. 1 pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, submitted his paperwork to enter the procedure, according to Shams Charania of The Vertical.

The 19-year-old Slovenian guard of Real Madrid is projected among the Top 3 picks, according to various mock drafts.

Doncic is currently leading the EuroLeague in PIR with 22.1 per game. The potential No. 1 pick averages 16.3 points, 4.7 rebounds plus 4.4 assists over 25:32 minutes per game and is considered perhaps the major contender for winning season MVP. His output is unprecedented for a player of his age.

In his latest game in the competition, Doncic had eight points, five rebounds, and four assists to help Real Madrid tie the EuroLeague quarterfinal series vs. Panathinaikos 1-1 with a road win. L.A. Lakers GM Robert Pelinka, Charlotte Hornets GM Mitch Kupchak, and Orlando Magic GM John Hammond, attended the game to watch him play up close.
