Greek international center Kostas Koufos won’t enter free agency this summer to return to the Sacramento Kings next season, according to ESPN.
Koufos will exercise his 2018-2019 player option ($8.7 million) in the four-year contract he signed with the Kings in 2015, to remain with the team. He will enter the market in the summer of 2019 when he becomes a free agent.
The 29-year-old center averaged 6.7 points plus 6.6 rebounds in 71 games of 2017-2018.
