Memphis Grizzlies center Marc Gasol became the all-time rebounds leader in the history of the franchise.

During the 112 – 104 win of the Grizzlies over Sacramento Kings, Gasol collected 15 rebounds to go with his 19 points. When he grabbed his 15th board near the end of the match, he passed Zach Randolph to claim the first spot in the list of the top rebounders of the club, with 5.613 overall.

Randolph wasn’t playing for the Kings but he had a good view at Gasol breaking his record.

“It had a little more motivation,” Gasol said, per Memphis Commercial Appeal. “I wish he (Zach Randolph) was on the floor. But he was not. I’m just happy he was watching us.”

Gasol has spent the entirety of his NBA career with Memphis. The Spanish big joined the team in 2008, one year after the Grizzlies traded his rights with the L.A. Lakers in a deal that included other than his brother, Pau Gasol.
