Dallas Mavericks got a 4-win streak on Saturday night by beating the shorthanded Golden State Warriors at the “American Airlines Center”. They have red-hot NBA rookie, Luka Doncic, to thank for their “W”.

The 19-year-old Slovenian has scored many clutch points in Europe with Real Madrid, but last night got to a new level with a mid-range shot that put his team up 109-108 and later on sealed the game with two free throws.

“I’ve been doing this when I was in Madrid, too. I love the last-minute shot. Of course it’s different now. It’s the NBA. It’s the best league in the world” he said after the match.

He got a total of 24 points with 4/4 free throws, 7/12 two-pointers and 2/8 three-pointers. He also grabbed nine rebounds and dished four assists against the Warriors.

Doncic has now scored 292 points through his first 15 NBA games, which are the most from a NBA teenager in his first 15 matches.
