They started their five-game road trip with three wins, but the Denver Nuggets lost their last two games away from the Pepsi Center. They’re facing many injury issues that slowed them down during their ten-day road trip.

Nikola Jokic himself didn’t show any fatigue, indeed poured 24 points during the Nuggets losing effort against the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday. The 23-year-old Serb also notched 11 rebounds, seven assists and two steals in 33 minutes, but wasn’t enough.

Jokic had 18 points, 9.8 assists, 9.4 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 0.6 blocks during the five-game road trip. However, his team couldn’t hold on to the Western Conference’s pole position and is now half a win behind the Golden State Warriors.
